ACTORS’ REELS Why should you have one? Consider the following facts. 1. Every production company including ourselves, receives dozens of resumes & headshot submissions from actors looking to be consider for projects. However, only a fraction of submissions if any at all, include a Reel Sample. 2. Having a Reel, gives directors, casting representatives and producers an instant sample of your look, voice and acting skills on camera, regardless of your level or experience. 3. Using a Reel, especially for new actors can be beneficial for 2 more reasons A). To set yourself apart from all other submissions. B). The convenience of having a DVD you can copy and send out to casting representatives, producer etc, and have your Reel accessible online. |
